At its Unpacked event on July 9, 2025, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Z Fold 7, which will go on sale in India, the US, and other countries on July 25. The base 256GB model costs ₹1,75,000 (US$1999), and there are temporary promotions like free storage upgrades and trade-ins.

In 2025, Samsung has perfected the form factor. The Fold 7 is: 26% less than its predecessor only weighs 215g. Constructed with Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2, Armor FlexHinge, and an Armor Aluminum Frame Additionally, it has IP48 water and dust resistance, which is unique for foldables.
