Samsung has returned with its most ambitious foldable phone to date, the Galaxy Z Fold 7. This gadget, which retails for a hefty ₹1,69,999 in India, attempts to redefine what a smartphone can be. Is it worth almost ₹1.7 lakh, though?

Here is my frank and straightforward review of the Fold 7, which I have been using as my main phone for a full week.

Samsung has almost perfected the foldable form factor. Compared to the previous Fold 6, the hinge is more robust and slender, the crease is hardly perceptible, and the entire design feels more compact.

Split-screen, multitasking, and gaming all function flawlessly. Additionally, the Flex Mode, which allows you to use apps half-folded, is actually helpful.

📸 Cameras: Solid, But Not the Best in Flagship Segment

Photographs taken in the daylight are striking. Although not as good as the iPhone 16 Pro Max or Galaxy S45 Ultra, low light is respectable.

I regularly spent between five and six hours in front of a screen. Considering the two screens, that’s good. But when compared to competitors who offer 65W+, the charging speed seems antiquated.

However, most people might not think that spending ₹1.7 lakh on a foldable screen is worth it, especially since flagship phones with faster charging or better cameras are more affordable.
